My document is in another language — can you still notarize it?

Yes, but the document has to be presented with a translator's certificate of accuracy. I can refer you to certified translators if you need one and notarize the translator's certificate at the same appointment.

USCIS rejects documents for tiny errors. How do you avoid that?

I review each form against USCIS notarization requirements before signing — correct identification, proper acknowledgment vs. jurat wording, and clean original seals. Pennsylvania notaries are required by law (57 Pa. C.S. § 322) to keep records of every notarial act for 10 years; that accountability extends to getting it right the first time. Most USCIS rejections come from form errors rather than notary errors — I flag both before you submit.

Can you notarize an Affidavit of Support (Form I-864) in Philadelphia?

Yes. USCIS Form I-864 (Affidavit of Support) requires notarization before submission. I come to you anywhere in the Philadelphia metro area and can typically schedule within 24–48 hours. Bring valid government-issued photo ID and the completed, unsigned form to the appointment.

Do immigration documents always need to be notarized in Pennsylvania?

Not always — it depends on the specific form and USCIS or consular instructions. Many supporting documents (affidavits, declarations, consent forms) require notarization; the petition forms themselves (I-130, I-485, etc.) do not. I can review your document package at a consultation and flag exactly what needs a notary seal and what doesn't.

Are you a licensed and insured notary?

Yes. I am a commissioned Pennsylvania notary public, NNA Certified, background-checked through the National Notary Association, and carry $1M in Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance. Pennsylvania law (57 Pa. C.S. § 322) requires notaries to maintain a record of every notarial act for 10 years — every signing I perform is documented and retrievable.
